The Nzem berom has it root from the berom people, is the largest ethnic group in the plateau state central Nigeria covering about four local governments which includes Jos North, Jos South, barkin ladi, and Riyom. The berom speaks language which belong to the plateau branch of benue Congo, a subfamily of the large Nigeria Congo language family.
The nzem berom is an annual cultural festival of berom people celebrated around April or may a period when different cultures displays, are exhibited from different parts of berom land especially in music, dance, art and culture. Is a set for the ultimate celebration of beauty, culture and creativity showcasing their unique style in stunning tradition.
